Nitty
Gritty on Custom Invite Pricing |
|
In general ... custom invite sets with: rsvp post/card, direction card, invite & mailing envelope run $10+ per set. But, it truly depends on your choice of: design, supplies, addressing service, final count etc... Let me know your ideas & budget; I will create an estimate & design that will work for you. $1000.00 minimum on custom orders; you will receive an estimate prior to hire. |
|
| Your invitation's design will have a labor pricing worksheet associated with it. On this worksheet, each task for the construction & assembly of the invitation is itemized into a cost-per action; as well as showing the estimated one-time hourly fees for formatting the text sheets. | |
| If you were to make any design change, there would be a different labor or formatting cost associated with it on the pricing worksheet (= current $ wksht. as of 01/08). This pricing system was created so you could use the worksheet as a guide for making design choices to fit within your budget. | |
| The cost for supplies have not been included in the labor & formatting fees. Each client has control over which supplies are purchased & will be billed for the supplies purchased to fulfill the order (supplies costs avg. 30% over labor & formatting fees). | |
This
is just, FYI. I will guide you through the entire process. |

common mistake is to quote your total guest count vs. invite count. |

mock-up |
To create a mock-up you will need to email your final: text, graphics, photos & font choice to Stacey at freneticpress@gmail.com. |
| deposit |
I
will begin formatting the text, once I receive
a mock-up deposit (min. deposit will be based on estimated formatting
fees & any specialty supplies that need to be ordered, to create the
mock-up). All but $10 (per mock-up, if there are revisions or versions)
is applied to the final balance due, if a quantity order is placed. |
| proofs |
Prior to receiving a snail-mail version of your mock-up, I will email a formatted .pdf proof of all your text pages for you to edit & approve (should be 99.9% final, prior to creation of mock-up). If I go way over my call to duty (typically it's 1 creative session w/final design & supplies chosen, an estimate w/revisions, 2 edits w/new .pdf proofs; not 15 or multiple proofs using dif. fonts etc...) I will bill additional pre-production time at my hourly rate. |
| final
approval |
Receive
the mock-up, submit any last (tiny) changes via. email then give your
final: count, design & text proof approval for full-production. At
this time, you will be emailed an updated final invoice for payment in
full. Once payment has been received, frenettik may no longer be held
responsible for any errors & any adt'l changes are the $ responsibility
of the client. |
| balance
due |
Payment
of balance (including shipping fees for final product & supplies
delivery) is due, prior to full-production or ordering of supplies in
quantity. |
| addressing
service |
Email
your final edited .xls
address list, if you are having me mail merge & computer print
your guest list on envelopes
or labels,
in a matching font. |
full-production
|
Allow up to four weeks for full-production (for custom orders, deadline begins when full payment has been received a.k.a with final mock-up approval). On rare occasion, supplies may be back ordered or take longer to rcv.; frenettik will keep client posted as to revised timeline. |
rush
orders |
A rush order is any project w/a deadline under four weeks. Rush orders need to be pre-arranged at an additional 25%. |
| project
completion |
I will email you the moment the project has been completed & carefully packaged to mail using UPS ground. There are no refunds, returns or exchanges. |
